Title Fraud Can Happen To You

Title Fraud Can Happen To You

Fraud is everywhere! People are now stealing the title to houses right under the nose of the owner! They then borrow money against the house, or even list it for sale and transfer it before the owner knows what is going on.

To combat this fraud, the County of San Diego has set up a system to alert you immediately if a fraudulent title transfer is happening to you. But you have to sign up for this free service with the county. Not only will they alert you to the transfer attempt, but they will connect you with the District Attorney’s office.

Sign up now and protect your property. Again, this is a no-cost program offered by the county. Simply go to their website at www.SDARCC.gov/OwnerAlert or email them at OwnerAlert@sdcounty.co.gov

I understand that people are skeptical of clicking links in emails. You should be! So head on over to the San Diego County website and check it out for yourself.

Feel free to forward this email or the information contained in it to your friends and family to help them protect their properties.

Philippe Heller CEO
Philippe Heller started The Real Estate Inspection Company in 2004 after a really poor home inspection on his own house. He applied his background in technology to build an innovative, industry-leading company. Working for SDG&E, GE Power Systems, Cox Communications and Time Warner Communications taught him a lot about technology, quality, and customer service. These traits are passed on to all of the employees in the company.
